Cabool had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Fordland Eagles by a score of 3-1. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Jayne Thompson paced Cabool's offense, picking up 32 kills. Thompson got some help from Cambree Woodard and her 44 assists. Thompson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
Despite the loss, Fordland still got an impressive performance from Jayslynn Stalder, who had 26 digs and two assists. Stalder has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.
Cabool's victory bumped their record up to 26-7-3. As for Fordland, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 23-6-1.
