Volleyball Recap: Moore Has No Trouble Against Owasso

Moore barely beat Owasso the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Friday.

Moore never let Owasso on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 24-21.

Jaely Bell paced Moore's offense, picking up eight kills. Bell got some help from Kristen Straughn and her 13 assists. Lyric Howell and Lyra Razo kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Moore's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Owasso, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Moore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Deer Creek on the 23rd. As for Owasso, they will face off against Grimsley at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
