Millard West is a perfect 9-0 against Omaha South since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Millard West Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Omaha South Packers at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Millard West has 17 straight victories, Omaha South has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Last Friday, Millard West strolled past Lincoln Southwest with points to spare, taking the game 68-51. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Silver Hawks are ranked 26th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Millard West's win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1. Everything came up roses for Millard West against Omaha South in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, as the squad secured a 63-26 victory. Will Millard West repeat their success, or does Omaha South have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
