The St. Joseph Academy Flashes stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 55-32 margin over Trinity Christian Academy. The win was familiar territory for St. Joseph Academy who now have eight in a row.
Kelly Cramer was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of St. Joseph Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Taninah Manning, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Trinity Christian Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaylin Spor, who scored 14 points, and Haylee Morelli who scored 12 points.
St. Joseph Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
St. Joseph Academy will head out on the road to take on Halifax Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Halifax Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 573rd, while St. Joseph Academy is ranked 187th). As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Flagler Palm Coast at 4:30 p.m.
