Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Los Alamos to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gerrianna Romero, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals. GG Romero was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds.
Santa Fe Indian's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6. As for Los Alamos, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santa Fe Indian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Dulce at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Dulce is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Los Alamos, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Penasco at 1:30 p.m. on January 20th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Penasco is ranked 59th, while Los Alamos is ranked 43rd).
