The Heritage Christian Eagles won the last time they faced the Poetry Community Christian Pioneer, and things went their way on Friday too. Heritage Christian came out on top against Poetry Community Christian by a score of 44-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Heritage Christian.
Poetry Community Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jude Shook, who scored 11 points. Daniel McClure was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Heritage Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. As for Poetry Community Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-17.
