Pieper is 0-3 against the Antlers since January of 2023 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Pieper Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tivy Antlers at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Tuesday, Pieper came up short against the Chargers and fell 42-32. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pieper in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the defeat, Pieper saw an underclassman step up: MAYSON THOMAS dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. DONOVAN BESCH was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Meanwhile, Tivy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell to Wagner 68-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (59), Tivy still had to take the loss.
Pieper has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 18-11 record this season. As for Tivy, they now have a losing record at 14-15.
