The Browne Bruins and the Liberty Lions squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Browne Bruins had to settle for second. They suffered a rough 5-0 loss at the hands of the Lions. Browne's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Browne's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5-2. As for Liberty, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7-3.
Browne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty, they will head out on the road to square off against Xavier College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Xavier College Prep's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Liberty's offense will have their work cut out for them.
