The Ash Fork Spartans's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 57-25 win over Grand Canyon on the road. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Ash Fork considering their 20-point performance the contest before.
Gabril Zeller continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. Parnell Tsosie was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
The win got Ash Fork back to even at 13-13. As for Grand Canyon, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-22.
Ash Fork will be playing at home against Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Grand Canyon, they will head out on the road to challenge Fredonia at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
