Calvin Russel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Northwestern, dropping a double-double on 42 points and 14 steals. The match was Russel's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaisah McKenney, who scored nine points along with seven assists and six steals.
Edison's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Northwestern, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
