After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Open Bible Christian, Northside Christian Academy were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 31-24 win over First Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Northside Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Despite the loss, First Christian saw an underclassman step up: Reagan Davis scored ten points along with three steals. That was a full 41.7% of First Christian's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Northside Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for First Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Northside Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Hope Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for First Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge St. John Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in St. John Lutheran's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while First Christian has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
