Cathedral Catholic put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 78-65 victory over the Torrey Pines Falcons. This was payback for the Dons, who suffered a 65-54 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cathedral Catholic had a senior duo take command as PJ Jourdain went 8 for 12 on his way to 27 points and six boards and Steven Evans-Glynn dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards. Evans-Glynn is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Max Meza was another key player, putting up six points and seven assists.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tevaris Green, who went 8 of 19 on his way to 24 points. Cody Shen was another key player, going 6 of 15 on his way to 14 points.

Cathedral Catholic pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 87.0 points per game. As for Torrey Pines, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
