Watauga extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping them up to 8-0. Everything went their way against the Alexander Central Cougars as they made off with a 42-20 victory. Fans of the Pioneers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Cade Keller produced another solid effort throwing for 230 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground.
