The Garden Valley Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 22 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Victory Charter with a sharp 53-31 victory on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Garden Valley also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Garden Valley was led to victory by Aubree Zimmer and Kadence Jacobs. Zimmer dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Jacobs scored 15 points along with eight steals and six assists. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Jacobs has scored at least 25% of Garden Valley's points. Another player making a difference was Gertie Fuhriman, who scored ten points.
Garden Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Victory Charter, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Garden Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Wilder at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Victory Charter's road trip will continue as they head out to face Liberty Charter at 6:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Liberty Charter will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
