Palisades (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) took the lead for good when they ran for a touchdown with under a minute left in the fourth quarter and held on to defeat
University (Los Angeles, Calif.) 28-21 on Saturday.

Chris Marroquin, the Wildcats went into halftime with a 21-14 lead. The Dolphins took the lead for good with a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
When the two teams played each other last season, Palisades came away with a 20-13 victory.
The victory was a step in the right direction for PHS, which was coming off a 34-7 defeat at the hands of Venice in its previous game. The defeat comes as a step back for University, which notched a 26-14 victory over Hamilton in its previous outing.
In a Western game next week University (5-4) takes on Fairfax, and Palisades (6-3) will go up against Hamilton also in a Western game.
