It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Seneca Bobcats ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They managed a 60-55 victory over Daniel. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Cam O'kelley, who scored 22 points. Jermaine Miller was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Despite the loss, Daniel still got an impressive performance from Tristyn Carrington, who scored 19 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carrington has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Simms Disbrow, who scored 14 points.
Seneca's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Daniel, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.
Seneca will head out on the road to take on the Razorbacks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Walhalla will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Bobcats are ranked 70th). As for Daniel, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. Pendleton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
