Eustis-Farnam put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took the match and then some with a 83-28 victory over McPherson County/Stapleton. Eustis-Farnam were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Eustis-Farnam started the contest off right with 63 first-half points. McPherson County/Stapleton put up 20, so the score was 63-20 at the half. The Eustis-Farnam defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 8 and all but finishing the contest. The win bumped Eustis-Farnam's record up to 4-1. McPherson County/Stapleton are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Eustis-Farnam take on Maywood/Hayes Center at 7:00 PM. Maywood/Hayes Center took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Eustis-Farnam's good fortune. As for McPherson County/Stapleton, they will face off against Sumner-Eddyville-Miller.
