Baldwin has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Brethren Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Thursday, Baldwin was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-43 to Mesick.
Meanwhile, Brethren didn't have too much trouble with Crossroads Charter Academy on the road two weeks ago as they won 44-29. The victory was just what Brethren needed coming off of a 56-35 defeat in their prior matchup.
Baldwin bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.1 points per game. As for Brethren, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Baldwin was dealt a bruising 60-12 defeat at the hands of Brethren in their previous meeting back in February of 2018. Can Baldwin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
