The Kingman Academy Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Kingman Academy sitting on four straight wins and Arizona Lutheran Academy on seven.
Last Wednesday, Kingman Academy earned a 43-31 victory over Trivium Prep.
Taylee Mote continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 23 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Hatchell, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Meanwhile, Arizona Lutheran Academy put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 55-28 win over Trivium Prep on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Arizona Lutheran Academy has posted since December 12, 2023.
Kingman Academy pushed their record up to 7-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Kingman Academy was taken down by Arizona Lutheran Academy 46-13 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Kingman Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
