Softball Recap: Chamberlain Has No Trouble Against Alonso

Chamberlain hadn't done well against Alonso recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Storm put the hurt on the Ravens with a sharp 15-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Storm, who have now won six matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Chamberlain's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-13. As for Alonso, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Chamberlain will welcome Plant at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Storm's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Alonso does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
