The Design Tech Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 53-30 defeat at the hands of Kehillah. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Design Tech in their matchups with Kehillah: they've now lost three in a row.
Nabhan Singh and Sam Karadashe certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Singh scored 11 points, while Karadashe scored 9 points. Karadashe scored a full 30% of Design Tech's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Ittai Kohavi was on fire for Kehillah: he dropped a double-double on 28 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Bodhi Gemello, who scored 13 points.
The last time Design Tech won on the road was back on Friday. Having now lost three straight away games, they've bumped their record down to 0-3. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.0 points per game. As for Kehillah, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Design Tech will head out on the road to face off against San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kehillah, they will be playing at home against Jewish Community at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
