On Friday West Sioux take on Akron-Westfield at 7:00 PM. Each team will be battling to keep their 3-game winning streak alive.
West Sioux were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything went their way against Gehlen Catholic last week as the team secured a 61-0 win. Followers of West Sioux probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Meanwhile, Akron-Westfield took the contest and then some with a 42-6 victory over West Monona.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 3-1. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Akron-Westfield and West Sioux will really light up the scoreboard.
