Even though they lost, Coronado didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with nine strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Canon City only tossed five.
Meanwhile, Sand Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Sierra on Thursday and fell 4-3.
