Eielson have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Saturday they take on Homer at 1:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
Eielson simply couldn't be stopped two weeks ago, as they easily beat Seward 45-0.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-59, which was the final score in Homer's tilt against Houston last Friday.
Eielson's win lifted them to 2-1 while Homer's loss dropped them down to 0-4. We'll find out if Eielson can add another positive mark to their record or if Homer can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Eielson's step.
