Sophia Zepeda posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out 18 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Zepeda and Mundelein are taking a road trip to square off against Stevenson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
