Joseph Brown Dazzles in Liberty Ranch Win
Starting off the list is Liberty Ranch's Joseph Brown, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Brown rushed for 284 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.
Unfortunately for El Dorado, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Brown. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Brown saw the Cougars), he rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 59 receiving yards.

He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up 0.5 sacks, forcing a fumble, and making three total tackles (1.5 for loss).

El Dorado had to settle for second on Friday, but Jason Wilson sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the loss, Wilson was still balling out as he rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns.
This year, Wilson has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 145 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 12.43 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 48.43 rushing yards.

Zeppieri Made His Presence Known in Bradshaw Christian's 35-0 Win
Nathan Zeppieri was instrumental in extending Bradshaw Christian's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Zeppieri as he rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.
Unfortunately for Union Mine, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Zeppieri. Zeppieri rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and the Diamondbacks duked it out back in November of 2023.
