You can't lose the matchup if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Fordham Prep's strategy against All Hallows on Tuesday. Fordham Prep enjoyed a cozy 74-59 win over All Hallows. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fordham Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Matthew Kapfer, who scored 30 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kapfer has scored all season. Ryan Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 25 points along with six assists.
Meanwhile, Hackley couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 67-51 bruising from Albany Academy for Boys back in December of 2023.
Fordham Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Hackley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
