It was a proper cat-fight when Wheeling duked it out with Proviso West on Friday. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

Wheeling not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Proviso West between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16.

Wheeling is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-12 record this season. As for Proviso West, they dropped their record down to 10-19 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Wheeling has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Conant on the 20th. As for Proviso West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Oak Park-River Forest on the 20th.
