The Middletown Blue Raiders's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Boiling Springs Bubblers at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, everything went Middletown's way against Camp Hill as Middletown made off with a 62-39 win.
Even though Boiling Springs has not done well against Trinity recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Boiling Springs came out on top against Trinity by a score of 71-62. The victory was just business as usual for Boiling Springs, who after five games remain undefeated this season.
Boiling Springs' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Ascione, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Yenser, who scored 16 points.
Middletown's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Boiling Springs, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
Middletown couldn't quite finish off Boiling Springs in their previous matchup back in January and fell 41-38. Can Middletown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
