The McNair Eagles suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 113-34 defeat at the hands of Weston Ranch. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points McNair has scored all season.
Weston Ranch was led to victory by Mateen Rafiq and Darrion Lilly. Rafiq scored 31 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Lilly scored 36 points along with six assists and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lilly has scored all season. Richard Banks was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven steals and six assists.
McNair's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Weston Ranch, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McNair will take on Chavez at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Weston Ranch, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklin is hoping to put an end to a nine-game streak of away losses.
