On Friday, the Meridian Warriors faced the Timberline Wolves in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Meridian walked away with a 55-42 victory over Timberline. Winning may never get old, but Meridian sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Meridian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Timberline, their loss ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-1.
Meridian will take on Boise at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Boise will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Meridian is ranked third). As for Timberline, they will head out on the road to face off against Middleton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
