Fans got a thrill when Andrew Prado and Mondo Mansera connected against Santa Maria. The connection went for 72 yards, the longest such play in Pac-7 this season.
Paso Robles was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to fourth in the league. The Bearcats defeated Madera 34-16 earlier in the week.
Pioneer Valley's dynamic duo of Prado and Eduardo Ruiz proved to be unstoppable against the Saints, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Prado threw for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns and Ruiz had 106 yards receiving.

Rob Berwick provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Atascadero lost to St. Bonaventure. He completed 19 passes for 294 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 47 yards. Berwick's favorite target this week was Izaiah Cooks, who caught 7 passes for 78 yards.
Prado put up the best numbers in passing as Dan Ellington's team defeated the Saints.
Nathaniel Harris was the best running back in Pac-7 this week. In 39 carries, he ran for 210 yards as Paso Robles topped Santa Maria. Jimmy Pacheco also contributed to the rushing game with 34 yards on the ground.
Harris was a force in the backfield as the Bearcats topped the Coyotes.
Thanks to the talents of Berwick and Cooks, the Greyhounds have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Berwick is tops in the league in passing with 646 yards, while Cooks has rushed for 518 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Pioneer Valley's Ruiz, with 365 yards on 22 catches.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place St. Joseph takes on second place San Luis Obispo. Last week, St. Joseph defeated Palma, while San Luis Obispo lost to Morro Bay.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when Atascadero and the Panthers face off next week.
The league will see a high scoring game when Vic Cooper's team and Pioneer Valley face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Greyhounds comes in having scored 119 this season, while the Panthers have scored 117. Atascadero scored 24 points last week as it lost to the Seraphs.
Righetti moved up to 298 from 353 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Warriors were able to move up by losing to Valencia 34-19.
