The Indiana Little Indians lost against the Armstrong River Hawks back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The game between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Indiana falling 49-34. They have struggled against Armstrong recently, as their match on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Isaiah Riggle continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Armstrong, going 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 2 assists. Another player making a difference was Jack Valasek, who scored 11 points.
Indiana now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Armstrong, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Indiana will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greensburg Salem at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Armstrong won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Neshannock at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Neshannock will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
