It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Delta Panthers had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took down the Bulldogs 28-10. Delta's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Talan Hulet was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 220 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Hulet is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
Delta's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Xavier Martinez was especially locked on to Moffat County's QB and sacked him twice.
Delta's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Moffat County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Delta is on the road again on Saturday and play against Rifle at 1:00 p.m. on November 25th. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Rifle: 15.5, Delta: 6.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Moffat County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
