The Tradition Prep Pirates won the last time they faced the Westwood Panthers, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Tradition Prep walked away with a 63-53 victory over Westwood. With that victory, Tradition Prep brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.
Tradition Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aydan Fields, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fields has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Harris, who scored 17 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Tradition Prep and bumps their season record up to 9-9. As for Westwood, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
Tradition Prep won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Okeechobee at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. As for Westwood, they will head out on the road to take on John Carroll Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
