Grant Lawless' Big Game Leads East Lincoln over St. Stephens
 Starting off the list is East Lincoln's  Grant Lawless, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lawless threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
 Lawless might have his next game, a home matchup with North Iredell, circled on his calendar. When  Lawless last faced the Raiders  back in October of 2023, he threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown.

Hickory Wins 24th-Straight Thanks to  Brady Stober
  Brady Stober was instrumental in extending Hickory's winning streak to 24 on Friday. Stober was unstoppable, throwing for 245 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 9-for-9 passing. He has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  passing touchdowns the last four times he's  played.
 Hickory's victory was  their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-0. Stober and Hickory will face off against Foard at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

  Landen Agee was instrumental in extending North Lincoln's winning streak to three on Friday. Agee was unstoppable, rushing for 77 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also picking up 62 receiving yards and a touchdown. His longest reception was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.
 North Lincoln's win was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-1. They and West Iredell are set to duel  on Friday.

Jenkins Posts Huge Game in  76-10  Win
  Jaheem Jenkins was instrumental in extending Hickory's winning streak to 24 on Friday. Jenkins turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 95 yards and two touchdowns. Jenkins is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing touchdowns: he's   punched in at least two every time he's  taken the field this season.
 For the season,  Jenkins  has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 73.3 rushing yards per game.

Ellis Chappell Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 Hickory picked up their 24th consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Ellis Chappell. Chappell turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up 93 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
 For the year,  Chappell  has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 78 receiving yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 46.5  receiving yards per game.
