Pueblo East's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 15.5 points per game. As for Sierra, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Pueblo East has been crazy accurate this season, having made 48.9% of their shots per game. It's a different story for Sierra, though, as they've only made 29.8% of their field goals this season. Given Pueblo East's sizable advantage in that area, Sierra will need to find a way to close that gap.
Everything came up roses for Pueblo East against Sierra in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 64-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pueblo East since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
