On Thursday, McConnellsburg didn't have quite enough to beat Windber and fell 6-5.

Jaeden Peterson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Peterson was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Peterson wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Connor Earley, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. AJ Presley was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Grace Academy's record now sits at 2-0. As for McConnellsburg, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
