Warren is still undefeated this season after their game against Drew Central on Monday, but Drew Central came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Warren Lumberjacks came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Drew Central Pirates. That's more bragging rights for the Lumberjacks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Warren let Haven Johnson and Ember Johnson run wild. Haven scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-5, while Ember got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one double. Haven has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlee Wardlaw, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-5.

Warren pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Drew Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Warren will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Parkers Chapel at 5:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for Drew Central, they will face off against Harmony Grove at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
