On Friday East Burke take on Patton at 7:00 PM. East Burke are limping into the game on a five-game losing streak.
The match between East Burke and West Iredell last Friday was not a total blowout, but with East Burke falling 28-47, it was darn close. East Burke got a solid performance out of junior Seth Pruitt, who rushed for 117 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.
As for Patton, Patton had a rough outing against Foard two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Patton walked away with a 17-7 win over Draughn. The win was a breath of fresh air for Patton as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
