The La Sierra Academy Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 81-31 loss at the hands of California Lutheran. La Sierra Academy has struggled against California Lutheran recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
California Lutheran's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dumaga Orjiako, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Orjiako has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton McGee, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
La Sierra Academy bumped their record down to 2-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for California Lutheran, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.
