The Stockbridge Tigers stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Hampton 80-25 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Stockbridge sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Stockbridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carrington Wilson, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Wilson hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kahli Ingram, who scored 19 points.
Stockbridge is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Hampton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stockbridge will take on the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lovett is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 12-game streak of away losses. As for Hampton, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m.
