The St. Joseph Cadets pushed their score all the way to 62 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a rough 88-62 loss at the hands of Trumbull. St. Joseph has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why St. Joseph lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tj Wright. Despite the final result, he scored 30 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Christy, who scored ten points.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will take on the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westhill is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Trumbull, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Black Knights at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Connecticut (Stamford is ranked 16th, while the Eagles are ranked 15th).
