The D'Hanis Cowboys fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Sabinal by a score of 36-26 on Saturday. For D'Hanis, this counts as revenge for the 28-7 loss Sabinal walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Despite the loss, Sabinal still got an impressive performance from Israel Gonzales, who rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns. Beau Beza got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
D'Hanis is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for Sabinal, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Center Point the next time they take the field. Sabinal will host Center Point at 0:00 a.m. on Friday, while D'Hanis will head out to face them at 0:00 a.m. on November 3rd.
