Covenant Christian Academy led Louisiana Christian in scoring this week after putting up 51 points on Highland Baptist Christian.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship's Arek Moslander and Spencer Costa have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Moslander has thrown for 445 yards this season, while Costa, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 13 catches for 239 yards. Acadiana HomeSchool's Cooper Fruge leads the league in rushing yards with 619.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Commandos take on the Patriots. Acadiana HomeSchool is currently in second, while Christian Home Educators Fellowship is in third.
There should be lots of points scored when Jeremy Davidson's team and Jim Moslander's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Commandos comes in having scored 204 this season, while the Patriots have scored 151.
The Lions made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,553 from 5,890. The advance stemmed from a 51-6 victory over the Bears last week.
