Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Speedway walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand Purdue Poly Englewood a 9-0 shutout on Monday. Considering Speedway have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Purdue Poly Englewood from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Kendrick Kiser led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Speedway has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-2 record this season.

Speedway will challenge Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Purdue Poly Englewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
