Richmond Hill was beaten by Colquitt County 35-3 on Friday. Richmond Hill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.
Gunner Mobley threw for 32 yards while completing 100% of his passes. Evan Ulm was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards. On the ground, Kirk Scott rushed for 105 yards on only 11 carries.
Day'shawn Brown had a dynamite game for Colquitt County, rushing for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. Brown was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards. Colquitt County also got a significant boost from Ramsey Dennis, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.
Richmond Hill has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Colquitt County, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Richmond Hill will head out on the road to face off against Grayson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Grayson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Richmond Hill in Georgia (Grayson is ranked eighth, while Richmond Hill is ranked 43rd). As for Colquitt County, they have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Parkview at 7:30 p.m. on November 10th. Parkview is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
