The Rampart Rams suffered their biggest  defeat since November 29, 2023 on Thursday. They suffered a  rough 72-48 loss at the hands of Doherty. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat Rampart has suffered  against Doherty since January 10, 2020.
 Rampart lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Emily Huxtable, who  scored 13 points along with five  blocks and two  steals. Huxtable hasn't dropped below two  blocks for five straight games. Another player making a difference was  Isabelle Dufty, who  scored nine points.
  Bri Mansanares had a dynamite game for Doherty,  scoring 18 points along with three  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Mansanares has scored all season.  Tahlaya Biglow was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with five  assists and five  steals.
 This is  the second loss in a row for Rampart and  nudges their season record down to 5-8. As for Doherty, their victory  ended a four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-8.
 Rampart won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against The Classical Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on January 19th. The Classical Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Doherty's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fountain-Fort Carson at 7:00  p.m.  on January 24th. Fountain-Fort Carson will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
