The McGraw Eagles will take on the Port Byron Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McGraw's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Port Byron's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
McGraw's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Sunday. Everything went their way against Mt. Markham as they made off with an 11-0 victory. Considering the Eagles have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Port Byron, who bounced back after a loss on the road on May 8th. They walked away with a 9-6 win over McGraw on Monday.
Rylee O'Dell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Luciana Debois and Raelee McDowell did most of the damage at the plate: Debois went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and one double, while McDowell went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double. That's the most RBI Debois has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Mallory Mills, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Port Byron kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive contests.
McGraw pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Port Byron, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
