The River Ridge Royal Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Mitchell 77-47. River Ridge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-28.
River Ridge lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being THOMAS DELORETO, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of TAURUS (TJ) BEAL, who scored 11 points.
River Ridge has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Mitchell, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
River Ridge will be playing at home against Pasco at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mitchell, Mitchell and Land O' Lakes will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Land O' Lakes is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
